What makes an option "most active"?

Most active options are strikes with the highest trading volume or largest change in Open Interest (OI). They reveal where traders are focusing their attention — often signaling where institutional money believes price action will happen.

By Volume

Shows intraday trading activity. High volume without OI buildup suggests speculation or profit-booking in existing positions.

By OI Change

Shows new positioning. Rising OI with rising price = long buildup. Rising OI with falling price = short buildup.

Data refreshes every 2 minutes during market hours. Always combine with price action and risk management.
